prints for sale

Any photograph on this site is available for sale, most of them in various sizes. Black and white prints are made on traditional fiber-base silver gelatin with the finest Ilford or Foma photographic papers available. Only heavyweight fiber based papers are use — no resin (a fancy word for plastic coating that removes the extra work it takes to work with thick paper) prints will be made.

Papers have different characteristics and are chosen for their suitability with individual images. Darkroom prints are developed in mixed-from-scratch Ansco 130 developer, fixed in Photographer’s Formulary TF-4 Archival Fixer, and finally Selenium toned, both for the rich tonality produced and because it assures image permanence. Brian makes the prints in his home darkroom and all prints are signed and stamped. Mounting may be offered soon.

Expect fair prices and gallery-quality prints. Check back, as prices should be posted soon.
